Mason gets Surgery

Desmond Mason had surgery on his nose today. Officially, it’s for a “deviated septum.” He both broke his cheek and nose back on April 5th as a result of Chris Wilcox elbow.

Mason is expected out for the remainder of the regular season, but if the Hornets can pull off a huge win tonight against Denver and make the playoffs, he will be re-evaluated and potentially back on the court.

As a reminder, Mason does become an unrestricted free agent on the 1st of July.
